Little Lambs - Infants

Children 4 weeks to 18 months

Our Infant program provides an educational, nurturing environment designed to magnify your baby's development. We use only safe, soft, age-appropriate toys chosen specifically to meet each baby's unique developmental needs. We provide your baby with lots of attention through conversation and variety of activities giving them the feelings of safety, fun, and love. Every baby has a schedule of their own and our caregivers work to fulfill each individual schedule by following and documenting an activity log. 

Every day scheduled activities are performed such as:

"floor time" for developing gross motors skills- crawling, rolling over, sitting up
"finger time" for developing fine motor skills- pincer reflex, eye-hand coordination
"book time" for developing cognitive skills- thinking, listening, associating
"outdoor time", when weather allows, for fresh air and change of environment
"sleepy time" for necessary rest time

Christian music can be heard throughout the day in our Infant room. We feel that introducing the name of Jesus, even at this young age, is so important in their character development. Psychologist have proven that the first 3 years of learning are crucial stepping stones to our adult life by shaping our belief system and decision making abilities.
